Nameplate Removed

This propane tank is a company owned lease tank. The customer decided that they didn't want to pay their bill so they removed the nameplate hoping that the propane company would be unable to identify the tank as a company owned tank. The scratch marks are visible where a tool had been used to pry the nameplate off of the tank. Not only did the customer render the tank useless for further service, vandalism charges were filed against them. They spent more money on buying a new tank and in fines than if they would have just paid their yearly rent.
